You most definitely should get a Kindle this October Prime Day. Since there are also some Kindle Kids devices on the discount lists, we also have to mention just how heavy their backpacks become very early on in school. If they have a passion for reading, then the weight they have to carry increases immediately, which isn't ideal for their developing bodies. So, a Kindle device will be the perfect middle-ground solution to getting them to read more without having them carry more than they need to.

That's not too surprising given that the Big Deal Days like Prime Day, tends to focus on massive discounts for Amazon's own products. The list includes Fire TVs, Ring Doorbells, Kindles, Echo devices, and so on.
What is Kindle Unlimited?
Kindle Unlimited is a subscription service that offers readers unlimited access to over 2 million titles, including thousands of audiobooks and magazines. Subscribers can download and read as many books as they like on any Kindle device or through the Kindle app on their phone or tablet. The service also includes access to a rotating selection of books and magazines, as well as popular titles from renowned authors and publishers.
The service also offers a 30-day free trial, allowing readers to try it out before committing to a subscription. Some Kindle models also come with three months of free access to Kindle Unlimited, such as the Kindle Paperwhite Signature. Once the free trial is over, the service costs $12 per month. There's currently an active deal that enables you to pay $5 for two months, but you're going to skip the free trial if you do that. However, this is a fantastic deal if you've already tested out the service.
